A Day in the Life...

These facts bothers me greatly....

Normal:The average American family has 1.86 children. A baby is born every 8 seconds in America, and it's slightly more likely to be male.
How can you have 1.86 kids? I know it's an average, but you can't have half a kid...or .86 of a kid...sorry.

Extraordinary:Paying up to $4,000 to have someone else's hair attached to yours isn't too normal, although it is a growing fashion trend. The hair used for most of these extensions comes from Hindu pilgrims. The pilgrims cut off their hair as part of a funeral purification rite. Source: National Geographic, October 2004
This is just freakin' wierd. Sorry.

Extraordinary:Squatting. While illegal in the U.S. it's legal in the U.K. In fact, under British law, squatters are even entitled to electricity, water and other essential services.
Who needs a job? Let's go to the UK.

Extraordinary:Before toilet paper was invented, Americans used leaves, torn up newspaper and corncobs - yes corncobs - to take care of business. If you're still doing this, you are extraordinary.
...or just really wierd.

umm it's always been one of my goals to be a squatter. Just seven years until it's yours. I didn't know it was illegal in America. one more reason to move to europe I suppose.
