Here are just a few fun facts I picked up along the way...

Clinophobia is the fear of beds.

No piece of paper can be folded more than 7 times. (Is this correct?)

Earth is the only planet not named after a Pagan god.

The Mona Lisa has no eyebrows---it was the fashion in Renaissance Italy to shave them off! (gross)

Thomas Crapper was the man who invented the flushing toilet. (Thank God for the Crapper)

The average chocolate bar has 8 insect legs in it.

Right-handed people live, on average, nine years longer than left-handed people.

During WWII, IBM built the computers that the Nazis used to manage their death/concentration camps.

Abe Lincoln bought 50 cents worth of cocaine in 1860.

9/10 people believe that Thomas Edison invented the light bulb...newsflash---he didn't. It was Joseph Swan.

The plastic things on the end of shoe laces are called aglets.

The green stuff on the occasional freak potato chip is chlorophyll.

"Jaws" is the most common name for a Goldfish in the US-- (Callie, you better have one of your shrimp named Jaws...)

A duck's quack doesn't echo---nobody knows why.
