My Trip :-)

I am back, and I am sad. I love the beach, and I hate coming back to smog, traffic, rude people, and humidity without the beach. But, my trip was a blast, and I had so much fun!

Monday 19th- I babysat from 9-11, and Mandy paid me $10/hour again, which was both surprising and nice. Bobby and I then left around 3 and made it to Orlando around 10:30. We got to meet Stephen's (Bobby's cousin who is 23) girlfriend, Maria, who is one of the Little Mermaid's at MGM. She was kind of shy at first, but she turned out to be pretty nice.

Tuesday 20th- We woke up around 9:30 because Maria wanted to go shopping, but because they live in a studio apartment, we all woke up at the same time. Stephen, Bobby, and I decided to make the trek to New Smyrna beach, which was a little south of Daytona. Stephen's truck didn't have AC, so we drove with the windows down, and as a result, I got a farmer's tan on one arm. Ouch! The waves were amazing...very large, and it was fun to learn to body surf. We had fun...I didn't eve get too burned that day. Later, we came back and took showers and the four of us went to Chevy's...a Mexican restaurant, which was really yummy. After dinner, we walked around downtown Disney and went to some really cool shops including the Lego place and a giant McDonald's and some other funny shops...I wanted to go to Pleasure Island real bad, but Maria doesn't party, and nobody else had money.

Wednesday 21st- We woke up at 10:30 at Stephen and Maria's and they were about to head out to go to Bobby's grandfather's house to spend a couple of days. Maria tried to convince me to go to Sea World, but then she realized she could get Bobby and I into Disney for free...all parks, and free parking! So, of course, we took her up on it. I had never been, and neither had Bobby. We chose Animal Kingdom first, and then we rode Dinosaur...which was basically a bumpy car going through darkness with dinosaurs jumping out at you...kinda scary. Then, of course, it started pouring. We wanted to wait it out, but it just wasn't stopping. So, we left, and like magic, the rain quit. Bummer. We then left that part of Orlando and went to Bobby's friends apartment, Justin, and hung out with him and some of his friends for the rest of the night. We bought 48 beers. It was great.

Thursday 22nd- MINE AND BOBBY'S 4 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! We left Orlando and drove to Daytona, which is my favorite place now...so much going on, and it is very affordable. It was a little trashy, but hey, what can you do? Our hotel turned out to be really nice, and they gave us an ocean-view room. The pool was nice too. We got there and checked in, and then headed to the Volusia Mall because Bobby wanted to get me my anniversary present. He got me black Rainbow flip-flops, and I got him the same, plus a Fossil wallet and we both got a $25 giftcard to Starbucks. They are great presents. After that, we had a few beers, swam a little, and then went to Captain Henry Morgan's Oyster bar for our dinner. It was really good, but I ate far too much...and was sick afterwards. That night was so much fun...I love my Bobby so much!

Friday 23rd- We spent the entire day at the beach. Great bonding, and great drinking. Not much else to say...we went to the boardwalk that night and got airbrush t-shirts that say Jenna and Bobby, etc. You have to get one when you go to Daytona...seriously trashy...but I love it. We got a pizza later that night and drank and watched TV...great relaxation.

Saturday 24th- Got up at the butt crack of dawn and left to go to Bobby's grandfather's house in Jesup, Georgia. It was his great-grandfather's 94th birthday, and the entire Faulk/Anderson family made it to Jesup to celebrate...it's quite an accomplishment...I only wish I could make it that far in age. We ate at the Western Sizzlin', which was my first experience at that type of buffet restaurant...interesting to say the least, but it was great to spend that time with family. I met Bobby's 2nd cousin, Terry, who was Miss Georgia for 2 years and now lives off of Riverside Drive in Sandy Springs, and they have sons who go to Holy Innocents'...they were really nice, and we had no idea they lived so close! That night, all of Bobby's cousins and their girlfriends/boyfriends and Bobby and I planned a trip to Six Flags the day after 4th of July...it should be fun...I love them all.

Sunday-- I'm back. It's raining, and I have to babysit tomorrow. What could be worse?
