Much Needed Update

Can you believe the holidays are over? They really sped by.

Anyways, here's a list of things I've done this holiday season:

- saw Black Christmas

- went to Helen with 4 much loved friend

- bought some really neat 1920's advertisements from Clarkesville, Ga

- got an awesome French writing desk for Christmas

- bought an antique white dresser on Craigslist

- wrote 10 stories for Agnes Scott equalling $500

- reunited with my long lost best friend ever

- saw Bonnie, Jackie, Kelcy, and the entire Faulk clan and enjoyed my time with them a great deal

- watched many movies with my Mommy

- burned my mouth with my latte I made with my parent's new Tassimo coffee maker

- realized someone wrote me a bad check and got charged $35

- become obsessed with garage sales/thrift store

- been bad about returning phone calls on time

- listened to way too much Beach Boys, Justin Timberlake, and Red Hot Chili Peppers

- babysat for the Kelley's alot

- realized my childhood witch of a piano-teacher has a boyfriend...which is extremely creepy

- watched Beerfest at 1 AM with Alex...interesting movie...
- saw 'The Holiday'...and despite it's bad ratings, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
- listened to Kate Havnevik way too much
- witnessed a lady at the Kroger Deli order 1 slice of meat and 1 slice of cheese...not to taste
- watched 3 $1.00/day movies from Kroger
- not studied
- bought a year's subscription to Star magazine because I can't live off of Katherine's used ones once in awhile
- saw my sister this weekend
- babysat twice...
- watched 'Diary of a Mad Black Woman'...and loved it.
- felt awkward when Mandy argued with her husband
- turned in a revised edition of my English paper, and I received a better grade
- getting a pedicure today with Katherine
- bought 1 lb. of roast beef
- discovered Mr.Boston
- got a new fake tree...this time it's a good one
- realized my winter break is going to be a time to completely organize everything in my apartment!
- experienced the joy of the last day of classes
- skipped a teacher's evaluation

My life...

...is very hectic right now.

This weekend was spent in Savannah--it was so good to see my family and spend time together. I saw The Nativity, which wasn't good at all, so don't see it. When Bobby and I were driving back from Savannah, we got pulled over in Twiggs County by the K-9 Unit and he gave us a ticket for Bobby's tint, which is 20% and you're allowed to have 30%, which was recently changed per Sonny Perdue. I feel like if laws change there should be some type of letter sent around...wishful thinking. Now, I'm going to pay $100 to remove my tint (Bobby's doing his by himself) which was legal when I put it on. Oh well.

My cousin is about to graduate from the Police Academy...very exciting. We watched a video of his getting Pepper-Sprayed in the face. Terrible. He said it was the worst experience of his life...policemen in Georgia have to get that done in order to be certified by the State. Interesting.

Last night I watched Mystic Pizza with Alex. It's a good one. We watched it on a VHS...added to the experience. Love that movie. Especially JoJo.

This morning I was minding my own business and went to get a Chik-fil-A chicken biscuit because I needed some motivation for the day. As I was pulling in, the sun was blocking my view so I drove slowly, but hit some guy who was walking across the parking lot. No, not full on, just hit bookbag on his shoulder---how lucky is that to not hit him? I was about to panic, and I got out, and he said he was fine but his computer may not be. I told him to check it, and I would pay any damages. He said he realized it was an accident and that the sun is terrible right there at 9 AM, and he walked off and told me to be safe. I was so embarrassed and shocked. What can you do though? What a bad start to the day...

Then, I get to work. I find out that certain people continue to talk crap about me behind my back...I guess it just never ends--the immaturity of people. I have really realized who my true blue friends are this semester. I love you, and you know who you are!!

My Christmas tree is pathetic, but I do have gifts under it. On Friday, I am seeing The Holiday with Alex, and we are going to continue our XMas shopping...leave your requests in a comment.

Tonight I have to make a presentation to give tomorrow. Then, I have no more school work due. Exams are coming, but I'm not stressed.

What my life looks like...

The holidays are coming...thankfully. After today, I only have 8 more school days...what a glorious feeling.

I got offered to do a special Writing Project over the Christmas Break that I will be heavily compensated for...excellent experience, and I haven't quite decided what to do with the money...any suggestions?

Well, it's getting busy around the Jenna household...today I have class and then well, nothing...I'll probably go to the Y, work out, take a shower, eat dinner, go listen to the ridiculous Mike Adams, maybe do some journals?, then I will catch up on sleep.

Tomorrow, I have a super busy day. I go from 9:30-6:00. Then, I told Bobby that I would come over afterwards, so we'll see if that happens. I need to finish my HIS334 rough draft sometime tomorrow...it'll happen, I swear...or Friday AM.

This weekend, I am going to Savannah with Bobby to do Christmas with my Dad's extended family. Yes, it's early, but there really isn't any other time to do it...oh well, can't complain about an early Christmas.
