And a new week begins...

Well, it's 1:17 AM and a new week has officially begun. This weekend was alright...alot of paint and alot of laughs...good times. This week will be fun- I don't have class on Wednesday- so Bobby and I may head over to Six Flags to ride Goliath and break my fear of roller coasters...it's childish really, but I need to not be afraid of them! The condo is inching alot it seems...the walls are eating up the paint and there is always something else to do...I guess that's what you get for buying a shit-hole to being with. Oh well. Callie made a new layout for me on my myspace.com account and it's lovely. I really wish I knew how to do all of that. I decided that I am going to make Bobby and myspace.com account...he'll never get on it, but I figure that I'll do him the favor and get him on the boat of technological advances...since he had no Blogger, no Facebook, and no Myspace...what a loser, huh? Anyways I have nothing else exciting to report except that next weekend I have to write my Poli Sci 211 paper on Friday night (hopefully I'll have some of it done before that) and my HIS215 paper on Saturday night (outlining that one on Friday after writing my Poli Sci 211 paper) and then making/practicing my presentation on Sunday afternoon and hopefully relaxing a bit with my Bobby...

Okay, well I need to hit the sack, fo real...

The Count-down has begun...

So things are moving smoothly at my abode...paint is finally going up and my new countertop was installed yesterday (yippy!). I hope that everybody had a lovely Easter because I sure did. I went to church with my family and my man and then we went to eat at the Club so that was nice. I decided to be ambitious and went down to Decatur to paint...I guess it got some stress out. I just joined the Y on a scholarship membership (for all full-time students) which means I pay a one time fee of $52/year. If I was not a student, or I made more than $12,000/year I would have to pay $75 to join and $35 a month...dang, so I am saving some money! I guess school is good for something. Speaking of school, I am just on the home stretch now... Here are some important dates for me to remember...
April 17th- 3 copies of my His 290 rough draft due
April 21st- Fara analysis due for HIS 215
April 22nd- Keep DeKalb Beautiful 9AM-1PM Service Project
April 23rd- installing kitchen floors all day (boooo!)
April 24th- HIS290 revised rough draft due
April 26th- NO CLASS B/C OF SpARC (possible Six Flags adventure?)
May 1st- HIS215 paper and presentation due!
May 2nd-10th- 2 finals, 2 papers...and packing up and moving out...

Phew...just a few more weeks. Hang in there everybody!

Score

So my Gap bookbag broke today...piece of shit. Then, I went to throw it out and I found half a handle of vodka...so one man's trash is another man's treasure...

OKAY HERE'S THE UPDATE

Alright girls, calm down, here's the update. I know, I've been behind on the posts, but here's a new one. Last week was really short...I went home on Thursday night to walk/feed the pets because my parents were out of town. Nothing else exciting happened, except I got to talk to my sister for the first time in 7 months...which was interesting and good at the same time. I got my Poli Sci 211 midterm back and I got a 91...which was excellent, and I got a check plus on my History 215 think piece, which was great also. I have a presentation on Wednesday over a Research Design Project, which I'm nervous about because I hate giving presentations...but my professor thought it would ease the tension by telling me that my senior seminar presentation is about 20 minutes...great. Well Sunday I went to church with my mom and Dinkey, so that was nice...it was Palm Sunday so I saved all of the palms and gave them to May...she loved them. Is that sacrilegious? Oh well. I just have to get through today, tomorrow, and Wednesday early afternoon and then I'm free! Over the break, however, I have to finish a book and do some research...yuck. Hopefully I'll get to see some people. Alright well this was a boring post, I appologize. The condo is coming along, so that's nice. I can't wait to show it to you all!
