Stress= my new best friend

Classes started today. Bleck. My Chinese history class seems to be the most interested thus far...very interesting. We have a map quiz coming up, which I am definetly dreading.

My 300-level history that I am going to for the first time tomorrow has a professor who is pregnant and has a baby due a few days after finals are over...maybe we won't have a final? Wishful thinking I am sure.

I am starting to stress about my internship. What if I don't know how to do the type of writing that is required of me? What if I just suck at it? UGH! I can't work the full amount of time, so hopefully that doesn't matter as well. I am meeting with the Communications Office secretary tomorrow, so I'll figure everything out.

I went to Value Village with Katherine and Holly this evening because they were having a 50% off sale on all clothing. I got a really cute black peacoat and two Gap jackets and my total was $13.00! Amazing.

Well hopefully something fun with arise this weekend. We shall see!

Well, this weekend was interesting. On Friday night, Katherine came over and we went to Walgreens at 2 AM...very interesting. I almost bought a toaster oven for $10.00, and I still might. My toaster is a genuine piece...I guess you get what you paid for...only $4.88...but whatever.

I babysat for the Kelley's, and that was just interesting in itself. They rolled in in their taxi (with their friend) around 3:30 AM. They were completely COMPLETELY sloshed. Mandy told me that she was going to walk me to my car in case her husband's friend (she reassured me that her husband wouldn't) hassle me or try and hit on me. Sick. The friend was giving the cab driver a difficult time, so I just got in my car, and locked the doors, and just waiting for the friend to stumbly walk inside the Kelley's house. Mandy then drunkenly informed me that she had alot more babysitting dates coming up and that she would just e-mail me...

So school starts this week. What a pisser. I think this semester will be interesting. I am realizing who my true friends are, and I am making new friends, which is always a breath of fresh air. Sometimes I wonder why we stick with people (friends) who get us down when there are so many more great people out there?

Well, hopefully I will do something fun tomorrow. I have to babysit on Tuesday all day...but maybe I'll go out to eat to celebrate my LAST day of summer...oh gosh.

My birthday is coming up...I just can't wait.

Times are Changing...

So I found out today that the pet policy has changed at my condo, so now I will potentially be able to have May with me at all times. Audi, the property manager, said that the Board has to ratify the final rules, but to put it short, cats will be allowed only after everybody in your building approves it, which is the part I am nervous about. I don't think anybody in my building is an asshole, and my cat wouldn't mess with them, but still I can see somebody saying they are too allergic or something. We all have our own separate AC units, so that wouldn't bother them...she is fixed, uses the litter box, has all of her shots, doesn't EVER go outside or in the hallway, and sleeps most of the day. I don't know what I will do if somebody says no...Audi says that he thinks I probably have nothing to worry about, but as usual, I will probably obsess over it. I just really want my cat...and even if they say no, I will probably still have her!

Anyways, I didn't have power in my condo for nearly 15 hours...ridiculous. It was so hot and scary in here...I have barely slept...I probably should take a nap.

Anyways, I really hope I can have my May with me. I will be very upset if somebody says no...or I will just bring her anyways.

This weekend was relaxing...ah. I babysat and made a quick $40, which is great because I just made up for buying my James Blunt ticket. We have really great seats, by the way.

So, today I was just reminded by how annoying people are. I was sitting at a light and this ugly woman pulled up...one of the ones who overloads her car with bumper stickers...very anti-Bush, anti-everything basically...and she had 3 Kerry Edwards stickers on her bumper as well as a sticker that read "Proud to be American. Ashamed of my government." So annoying on so many levels. John Kerry lost. He dropped out infact...he would have been a real great President...especially in the terms of war...or in fact, he probably would have just dropped out then and said "laissez-faire"...but whatever.

Secondly, if you are proud to be American, you wouldn't be ashamed of our goverment...stupid dumb bitch. Also, if you are ashamed...get out of the country and go somewhere where you can be proud of your country...but I assure you, you probably won't find a better government or lifestyle than you have here...in fact, you probably won't find another government that allows the freedoms you have so willingly bestowed upon yourself and forced other individuals to swallow while sitting at a Decatur light.

Bahhhh...I just can't believe some people. I mean, it's one thing to be a Democrat, but it's another thing to be an idiot.

Sorry to my readers...I am just a raving libertarian/republican/whatever.

Cheese dip and stale tortilla chips...

That's what I'm eating...cheese dip and stale tortilla chips...yummm! I babysat today and Meg told me that I don't need to come next Tuesday because her in-laws are in town! Yes!

Thursday I might drive to D'ville to see my loves. I'll be hitting up Old Time Pottery for sure! I was planning on getting May Wednesday night, but I guess I'll just get her Thursday night and have her hang out with me Thursday night, Friday, and bring her back on Saturday before I babysit for Mandy...bleck.

Hmmm, yesteday I went to Athens. The town is so cute, I forgot how much I liked it...minus the generic people. When I got home I was so hungry I ordered a pizza from Papa John's and brought it over to Alex's. We just chatted and hung out...it's nice that she's home!

The days are diminishing before school starts...so scary!

I don't have much else to say on this thing...

Blogs are for suckers...truly.

I love Ron, well actually I hated Ron earlier...Ron is my new personal trainer with Coach Approach...I have never sweated so hard...hmm sounds sketchy, but it was a hard workout. Now I'm exhausted and ready for bed...it is only 6:45 PM on Friday...what's my problem?

Anyways, I have to go borrow lots of stuff from Katherine later....she had to get rid of Georgie...so sad. At least her party is tomorrow! I have SO much to do tomorrow...CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN...run errands....chop veggies/make guacamole/get salsa/get cake....AHHHHHHHHH

But, boy I am looking forward to it!

Not much to say.

So, I don't have too much to say. I went to bed at 5 Am and I slept until 2:30 when I forced myself out of bed...what the heck? Mary showed us last night her nifty Facebook picture book, so I wanted one. I put all the pictures I wanted and the total came to $90 so I cancelled that idea. CVS only charged me $22.04 for 116 pictures...I'm so excited. I've been meaning to print out all of my digital photos because I lost basically all of my photos when my hard-drive died last December...now I'll have a nice photo album that people can look at. Last night a giant tree fell behind my condo and smashed the fence so it looks even more ghetto than it did before...great.

So, last night was fun. It was raining cats and dogs...literally, so I picked Katherine up after she rode Marta. We then met Mary in Dunwoody and picked Sarah Tullis up at Amanda Meng's house...I hadn't seen Tullis since highschool, and I have to say that I was glad to see her...she's funny! Anyways, we then played poker, which I had no f'ing idea what I was doing, but I did pretty well...whatever.

Wendy's in Norcross closes at 12 AM...damnit. So, we drove to Gwinnett Mall area and that Wendy's freakin' gave me a BBQ cheeseburger when I ordered a Junior Bacon cheeseburger...damnit again.

This week is my LAST week working with the Kelley's...thankfully. Thursday is Katherine's bday...HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Anyways, I think I may go to a movie that day and use my free movie ticket before it expires.

I just can't wait until this weekend...I hope people come, and it is fun.
